Supply Planner

Oversees inventory and supply planning responsibilities for assigned plants and/or co-manufacturing. Maintains capacity plans, production schedules and/or finite schedules to ensure the efficient delivery of inventory, service and cost objectives. Responsibilities may also include inventory stock transfer/replenishment responsibilities, assisting with month end close process and cross-functional with data entry/inventory control. Identifies ways to improve supply planning processes and tools for assigned areas. Provides supply planning expertise to the commercialization of new products or resolution of key inventory shortage issues. Entry level related experience.

- Direct and oversee the planning of all daily production schedules both internal and external. - Lead all pertinent scheduling communications with USDA and Kosher services - Provide timely shop order issuing, reports, and information to production personal. - Support efficient replenishment of minimum balances and floor stocks. - Track plant/business performance (KPI’s) to the established goals. - Provide resolution and execution to product shortage issues. - Provide resolution and execution to all customer related, production planning issues. - Interact with Customer Service and Sales as needed. - Coordinate/lead special projects as required.

- Bachelor’s degree desired, and or 3-4 years of experience in production planning, production scheduling, or materials management. - Working computer skills, including but not limited to Excel, Outlook, Powerpoint, AS-400 - Good communication skills. - Manage multiple tasks simultaneously. - Ability to work in a team environment as well as independently with minimal supervision.
