Senior Technical Marketing Writer

COMSOL, Inc. is seeking an enthusiastic, experienced, and results-driven Sr. Technical Marketing Writer to join our Marketing team in Burlington, MA.

General description

• As part of the Technical Marketing function, you will be responsible for producing marketing collateralsuch as user stories, articles, and white papers. You will be supervising writing projects that include interviewing COMSOL employees and customers, and conducting all the research necessary to produce well-written, accurate, complete, concise, and inspiring content.
• You will collaborate with other marketing and company functions, customers, and press contacts and supervise marketing collateral production and technical marketing writers.
• Your role will encompass a vital part of the company’s business model and you will be expected to perform your duties with high standards of professionalism and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Produce our marketing collateral
• Supervise our team of technical marketing writers
• Coordinate all the research necessary to produce well-written marketing collateral and interview our subject matter experts and customers

• At least a Bachelor’s degree plus five years of experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience, in an engineering or science field, or majored in technical communication with an aptitude for technical marketing
• Outstanding language, editing, proofreading, and formatting skills
• Being passionate about copywriting and familiar with technical marketing writing and marketing best practices
• Strong organizational- and time-management skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• High energy, self-motivated, quick study with flexible nature
