Summary
COMSOL, Inc. is seeking an enthusiastic and results-driven Marketing Communications Writer to join our Technical Marketing group in Burlington, MA. As part of the Technical Marketing group at COMSOL, you will work at the intersection of technology, business, and creative to deliver high-quality technical marketing material in the modeling, simulation, and application design space. You will use your communication and project management skills to produce and coordinate technical marketing resources that demonstrates the capabilities of the COMSOL Multiphysics® software to engineers, designers, scientists, and researchers. Our products enable modeling and simulation of a wide range of physics disciplines including electrical, chemical, mechanical, and fluid, giving you the opportunity to work on a diverse range of topics. In this role, you’ll have the opportunity to interview COMSOL Multiphysics software users to produce user stories and articles, collaborate with colleagues and subject matter experts to produce current and accurate technical marketing content. You will also contribute with creative writing for product releases, events, webinars, press releases, and advertisements. Please note that this position does not entail documentation or user manual production. Applicants should demonstrate a passion for journalistic-style writing that conveys technical detail while also telling a compelling story.
Responsibilities
* Produce technical marketing material including press releases, articles, user stories, advertisements, and more. * Coordinate all the research necessary to write insightful articles and interview subject matter experts. * Review and proofread content such as user stories, whitepapers, advertisements, and abstracts.
Ideal Candidate
* At least a Bachelor’s degree plus three years of experience as a professional writer.
