Principal QA for Deduplication

You will be responsible for key projects for the QA team on the Data Storage and Data Deduplication software. This will be a hands-on position for Testing of Commvault software on Windows, Linux and Unix platforms. The day to day job responsibilities will include Test case design, Functional/Feature testing, Scale/Performance testing, helping the team with Customer POCs, resolve escalated customer issues etc. Experience in getting products to market on time and a demonstrated track record of delivering strong, QA fundamentals in this role. Must be able to adapt readily to new and changing requirements and new tools.

* Strong understanding of Operating System (Windows/Linux/Unix) fundamentals. * Good File System fundamentals is a must. Solid background on Deduplication enablement, feature testing on black box, Test case design. * Strong Database fundamentals, SQL knowledge * Excellent TCP/IP networking concepts, experience in Puredisk, Cloud Storage. * Very good domain knowledge in storage domain such as SAN, NAS, iSCSI, Snapshots etc. * Scripting experience with Python a big plus * Strong analytical and problem solving skills required.
