Director Facilities Engineering - Hospital Plant Operations

Community Health Systems is in need of Dir Facilities Engineering for Hospital Plant Operations department. Please refer to the job functions and qualifications stated below.

• Directs an organization's facilities department.
• Oversees the functioning of building systems including mechanical, electrical, fire/life safety, and elevators.
• May manage the maintenance of buildings and grounds.
• Oversees contractors for facility renovation projects entailing HVAC, electrical systems, and production floor arrangement.
• Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
• Performs a variety of tasks.
• Leads and directs the work of others.
• A wide degree of creativity and latitude is required.
• Typically reports to a top management.

• May require a bachelors degree and at least 10 years of experience in the field.
• Familiar with a variety of concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field.
