Sales Specialist

Community Coffee is searching for a Sales Specialist for our Coffee Service Division to acquire new business and to ensure customer satisfaction in existing accounts.

• Acquires new business by developing prospect list from business directories, trade associations and other available resources.
• Presents company offerings through product demonstrations and sales proposals.
• Regularly makes sales calls to existing customers to improve performance.
• Trains staff in product knowledge, sales programs and techniques.
• Participates in daily activities of sales staff to achieve sales plans and objectives.
• Participates in tradeshows and special events.
• Ensures customer satisfaction.
• Performs route relief as needed.

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must have an acceptable driving record.
• High School diploma or General Education degree (GED); college degree preferred
• At least 2 years route sales and cold calling experience (DSD environment preferred); strong sales record. Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Valid Driver’s License; Commercial Driver’s License may be required based on location.
• DOT medical certification required
• Daily, local travel; Limited overnight travel.
• Must frequently lift up to 35 pounds and may occasionally lift up to 40 pounds.
• Must push or pull up to 100 pounds using a rolling pallet or similar equipment, often up or down a slight incline or ramp.
