Sales Specialist

Community Coffee is searching for a Sales Specialist for our Coffee Service Division to acquire new business and to ensure customer satisfaction in existing accounts.

* Acquires new business by developing prospect list from business directories, trade associations and other available resources. * Presents company offerings through product demonstrations and sales proposals. * Regularly makes sales calls to existing customers to improve performance. * Trains staff in product knowledge, sales programs and techniques. * Participates in daily activities of sales staff to achieve sales plans and objectives. * Participates in tradeshows and special events. * Ensures customer satisfaction. * Performs route relief as needed.

* Must be at least 21 years of age. * Must have an acceptable driving record. * High School diploma or General Education degree (GED); college degree preferred * At least 2 years route sales and cold calling experience (DSD environment preferred); strong sales record. Strong communication and organizational skills. * Valid Driver’s License; Commercial Driver’s License may be required based on location. * DOT medical certification required * Daily, local travel; Limited overnight travel. * Must frequently lift up to 35 pounds and may occasionally lift up to 40 pounds. * Must push or pull up to 100 pounds using a rolling pallet or similar equipment, often up or down a slight incline or ramp.
