Summary

Commune Hotels & Resorts is seeking a Marketing Manager to lead in the evolution of its brand-wide marketing efforts including guidelines, communications and messaging platforms. The creative strategist will engage with hotel sales and marketing leaders and forge strong relationships to provide insights, recommendations and opportunities that deliver location-specific marketing solutions.

The Marketing Manager will help guide creative design and content on a global scale, working closely with all teams to incorporate rich storytelling into the marketing tools and strategies implemented by the home office team. In this role, the Marketing Manager will help Commune and its hotels reach short and long-term goals by providing location-specific solutions and fresh content strategies using both traditional and nontraditional marketing initiatives.

Responsibilities
  • Be a highly visible asset in the field with sales and marketing leaders and local hotel operation teams.

  • Translate, adapt and scale home office marketing strategies into market-specific programs.

  • Oversee and manage the development and production of branded print collateral, non-printed collateral (websites, e-blasts etc.), menus, signage, etc. while adhering to brand standards.

  • Provide strategic direction for external and internal creative development that reinforces Commune and/or its four brands.

  • Coordinate and execute brand-wide email campaigns.

  • Enhance current digital asset management system with aim to boost organization’s visibility, discovery, retrieval and sharing across all disciplines within the portfolio.

  • Plan, budget, manage and execute media and promotions, and provide analysis of results on a consistent basis.

  • Work in conjunction with Public Relations to identify, develop and implement PR strategies.

Ideal Candidate
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or related field.

  • Three to five years in sales and marketing industry or related field.

  • Knowledge of marketing objectives, tactics and strategies required; preferred experience with online marketing, advertising and finance/budget planning and management.

  • Hotel experience preferred, ideally in Sales and Marketing.

Bonus:

  • Experience working in Photoshop, InDesign and Illustrator, and making graphics for both print and web.

  • Basic knowledge of video editing and production.
