Product Owner - Loan Operations

As a leader on of the product team, you will sit at the center of the business and work intimately with the operations, underwriting, and risk teams to understand and improve the operational processes and tools to deliver on our member onboarding and NPS goals. You will have a broad mandate to design the workflows that allow us to deliver an exceptional member experience. You likely have a background in systems design or have hands on experience integrating online and offline data into a seamless workflow. You are analytical, well-organized, and above all you deliver. * Design operational workflows to hit cycle time and experience requirements, working closely with UX and visual designers * Obtain and analyze data to inform project planning and delivery. Conduct user tests and focus groups, and analyze internally generated data * Establish product delivery timelines in close collaboration with the development team; work closely with development team to hit sprint milestones and deliver your design on time * Test and QA - nothing gets released without your final say * Build a system of continuous improvement based on performance metrics and your analysis * Collect, aggregate, and draw insights from product performance data (using in-house and third party data) * Communicate effectively across the organization to keep stakeholders updated on progress of your projects

* Extremely organized and delivery oriented – you’re not satisfied until a job is complete * Excellent system designer: you have a skill of getting to dependencies and bottlenecks very quickly, and are creative and relentless about designing for throughput * Data driven – you love a debate, but always want to see what the data says before determining a winner * Experience with designing efficient , tech-enabled process flows * Experience in lending operations is awesome, but more important is your ability to learn fast * Team player – you want to be relied upon and you understand how others make your goals achievable * Sense of urgency – you want to “go, move, make things happen, and shake things up!” * Nimble – able to handle changing tasks and priorities and adapt quickly * Programming experience a plus but not required * An eye for design and UX is a big plus * Supreme ability to organize yourself and your tasks, and to manage your time * Strong attention to detail * 3-5 years of product management experience, ideally with process flows and backend tools * Bachelor’s degree and an objectively strong academic record
