Responsibilities
* Lead a concentrated effort to source, negotiate, document, and close committed Forward Flow agreements with Community and Regional Banks. * Develop and maintain meaningful relationships at senior levels with Community and Regional Bank personnel * Expand awareness of CB within the Community and Regional Bank arena, including attending and speaking at relevant conferences * Strengthen dialogue with third parties that have strong affiliations with the Community and Regional banks * Price, structure, document, and close forward flow agreements with Community and Regional banks in increasing volumes annually (hundreds of millions of dollars) * Track trends in marketplace lending to source new capital and obtain best terms * Build and manage a team of coverage professionals that will grow with our business
Ideal Candidate
* 10+ years of FIG coverage or Capital Markets experience, particularly in a selling role. * Experience working with capital markets’ participants, such as commercial and investment banks, credit/hedge funds, insurance companies, lawyers, etc. Prior focus on Community and Regional banks is a huge plus. * Experience with capital markets transactions and products, including sourcing, structuring and/or selling * Comfort and experience negotiating loan documents * Proven ability to close deals. Substantial experience leading, negotiating, and closing capital markets transactions * Experience with SalesForce or other CRM database a plus * Comfort and grasp of essential economic news/indicators that influence capital flows * Highly organized with the ability to efficiently and accurately multi-task * Ability to manage and complete multiple projects on time and with minimal supervision * Excellent oral and written communication skills * Proven ability to work effectively with, present to, and influence executive level management * Flexibility to perform in an ever-changing work environment * BS/BA in Finance or related field. MBA/CFA preferred
