SQL Server DBA/Developer

Commissions, Inc. (“CINC”) is a rapidly growing, entrepreneurial, real estate technology company. CINC has received numerous awards for its growth and culture. CINC provides a CRM platform and related tools for top-performing residential real estate agent teams to manage leads resulting in more closings. Additionally, CINC provides digital advertising services to drive leads to its clients’ websites. CINC sells its services on a month-to-month subscription basis.

* Reviews service related reports (e.g: database backups, maintenance, monitoring) on a daily basis to ensure service related issues are identified and resolved within established SLAs. * Respond to database related alerts and escalations come up with strategic solutions to recurring problems. * Establish ongoing assessments of database performance and identify problem areas. * Provides adhoc reports to operations upon request. * Working heavily with the development team conducting code reviews

* BE or BS Degree in one of the following subject areas: Computer Science, Business Administration, Information Technology or related field preferred * 3-5 years IT operation with strong understanding of database structures, theories, principles, and practices * Minimum 3-5 years Microsoft SQL Server experience in a high volume, multi-terabyte environment. **Required Skills** * SQL Server 2008 R2-2012 * Database Administration, Tuning, Management, Security * Clustered OLTP / High Availability environment experience * Ability to write, optimize and troubleshoot SQL * Full Text Search experience a plus * Experience with High Transactional environment over 17K transactions per second. * Knowledge of Indexes and Index Management * Understanding of, and experience with, server-client computing and relational database environments * Good understanding of the organization’s goals and objectives * Good interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills * Ability to present ideas in user-friendly language * Self-motivated and directed, with keen attention to detail * Strong ability and desire to learn * Able to prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment * Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
