Responsibilities
The Building Commissioning Engineer at Commissioning Agents, Inc. provides recommendations and feedback regarding the design, equipment selection, test and balance requirements, energy efficiency, operations, maintenance and potential enhancements for building commissioning. This person is responsible for developing and reviewing documentation for compliance with control standards, commissioning standards and contract documents. The Building Commissioning Engineer is critical in the company's continued success and growth by providing the services to our clients that are key to our business.
Ideal Candidate
The successful Building Commissioning Engineer must have: - Bachelor degree in Engineering or comparable experience - Minimum 3 years of experience in building commissioning of critical facilities such as laboratories, vivaria, hospitals, data centers and manufacturing - Willing to travel up to 100% of the time - Formal HVAC training/education - Basic understanding of building automation systems such as BAS, BMS and DDC - Certification with accredited commissioning association is desired
