Software Engineer in Test

Currently, we are looking to recruit an experienced Software Engineer in Test to join our technology department. We are a rapidly growing organization and we are in need of exceptional talent to join our team. The ideal candidate will be a self-organized, detail oriented and creative problem solver, dedicated to the testing process. This person will work in a fully Agile / Scrum environment with a team of programmers and QA engineers in order to ensure the development, maintenance and execution of quality assurance. The candidate will also be responsible for writing, maintaining and enhancing our automated tests suite. Experience with Agile methodology preferred.

- Develop and maintain test plans, manual and automated test scripts for user interface, functionality, system and 'ad-hoc testing' - Execute regression tests, functional tests and data tests - Document quality assurance practices - Report, track and determine priority of reported bugs - Work closely with business stakeholders and software developers to understand requirements and create test plans. - Develop scripts for automated testing

- Generally requires 7-11 years related experience - 5 years of experience in Software QA/Testing a variety of applications - Bachelors Degree or Equivalent in Computer Sciences/Engineering or associated discipline - A solid understanding of quality assurance as part of the development process - Some experience in programming with C# or similar language for automated testing. - Experience writing basic SQL queries. - Experience with both manual and automated testing, specifically with Selenium. - Understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) - Experience with testing in agile environments - Experience with automating (regression) tests - Experience in a Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment environment, specificallywith Jenkins or Bamboo preferred.
