Comcast Business Inbound Call Qualifier

Responsible for answering, screening and qualifying incoming calls from potential customers (prospects) and existing customers regarding Comcast Business Services. The Inbound Qualification Rep, or Call Qualifier, asks open-ended questions about the nature all calls to route calls to the appropriate Comcast departments and/or individuals which may include Sales, Customer Service, Billing, Technical Support/Repair, etc. This role works to maximize the customer experience for Business Class customers. The Commercial Switchboard Operator relates well to the customer, thinks and exercises sound judgment, and acts responsibly in the customer's and the company's best interest.

* Elicits and records customer information and inquiries, following prompts from a computerized system and directs customer calls to the appropriate department. * Maximize the customer experience with demonstrated ability to articulate relevant information and directions in an organized and concise manner. * Operate internal system to facilitate connections. **Core Responsibilities:** * Interacts with small and medium business customers via telephone and/or email to answer questions and inquiries. * Monitors an email mailbox which is used by customers for questions and inquiries. * Communicates with internal and external customers in multiple markets with regard to customer questions and inquiries. * May call customers to provide appointment reminders. * Updates multiple internal systems (e.g. billing systems, Workbench and SFDC) with customer information. * Determines appropriate call handling. * Performs to call center metrics. * Regular, consistent and punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) and overtime as necessary. * Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
