Graphic Design Specialist

- To create compelling artwork and graphic designs for both web and print. - Understanding of the ColourPop brand as well as the customer and applicable trends - To create visually unique, and artistic marketing messages for colourpop.com - Ability to work well in a teamwork-oriented environment through strong communication and interpersonal skills - Must have a strong sense of urgency and be able to prioritize and meet tight deadlines - Must possess strong design skills (typography, color theory, and composition) and contemporary aesthetic - Excellent attention to detail: Review and proofread designs for errors before printing/publishing to produce accurate and high-quality work Web - Develop web friendly graphics for product promotions, page banners, banner ads, social media, & web publications - Layout and design of promotional emails Photography - Product photography and photo-retouching with ability save images in the appropriate format for destination - Produce images that identify a product or convey a message Print & Packaging Artwork - Create primary and secondary packaging artwork as they apply to the overall brand vision - Create consistently tight files including detailed legends for packaging graphics, leaflets, labels, and other print collateral - Understanding of printing techniques and ability to problem solve around print limitations - Conceptual development, renderings, comps for new packaging development - Layout and design for product catalogs and other print collateral

Qualifications - BFA or BA in Graphic Design or equivalent experience - Expert knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud applications, particularly Photoshop, Illustrator & Indesign - Knowledge of Microsoft office: Powerpoint & Excel - Knowledge of offset printing & finishes - Proficient in photo-retouching & product photography - Knowledge of HTML & CSS a plus
