Responsibilities

- To create compelling artwork and graphic designs for both web and print.
- Understanding of the ColourPop brand as well as the customer and applicable trends
- To create visually unique, and artistic marketing messages for colourpop.com
- Ability to work well in a teamwork-oriented environment through strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Must have a strong sense of urgency and be able to prioritize and meet tight deadlines
- Must possess strong design skills (typography, color theory, and composition) and contemporary aesthetic
- Excellent attention to detail: Review and proofread designs for errors before printing/publishing to produce accurate and high-quality work

Web

- Develop web friendly graphics for product promotions, page banners, banner ads, social media, & web publications
- Layout and design of promotional emails

Photography

- Product photography and photo-retouching with ability save images in the appropriate format for destination
- Produce images that identify a product or convey a message

Print & Packaging Artwork

- Create primary and secondary packaging artwork as they apply to the overall brand vision
- Create consistently tight files including detailed legends for packaging graphics, leaflets, labels, and other print collateral
- Understanding of printing techniques and ability to problem solve around print limitations
- Conceptual development, renderings, comps for new packaging development
- Layout and design for product catalogs and other print collateral

Ideal Candidate

Qualifications

BFA or BA in Graphic Design or equivalent experience
Expert knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud applications, particularly Photoshop, Illustrator & Indesign
Knowledge of Microsoft office: Powerpoint & Excel
Knowledge of offset printing & finishes
Proficient in photo-retouching & product photography
Knowledge of HTML & CSS a plus
