Senior Data Scientist

We are looking for a Senior-level Data Scientist to join the Analytics team at Collective Health. This position requires project leadership skills, technical ingenuity, and a genuine passion for building flexible and elegant frameworks. We are looking for an experienced professional to lead our approach towards scalable, configurable, and verifiable data pipelines for healthcare analytics. You will work closely with teams across the company to build these technologies into revolutionary products that make a difference in how healthcare works.

* 5+ years of experience in technical leadership positions, with an ability to coordinate with business users, data scientists, and data and devops engineers to build solutions * Ability to create scalable software architectures and to implement in high-level languages * Deep understanding of data modeling and statistics (including rigorous approaches to handling dirty data, sparse data) * Expertise in data pipeline development using modern cloud-friendly tools (e.g. python/pandas) * An advanced degree (MS/PhD) in a data/modeling-heavy discipline

* Healthcare background / experience * Data tool authorship reference (e.g. presented at PyData, Hadoop+Stata, internal tools, etc.) * Experience with secure cloud infrastructure (S3 data storage, identity management integration, Unix tools)
