Responsibilities
- Applies the latest programming concepts and tools to further develop the Codeware Interface add-in for Autodesk Inventor and SolidWorks. This add-in converts models created in Codeware's COMPRESS or INSPECT software to native Inventor or Solidworks models. - Helps develop the drawings and bill of materials (BOM) creation feature of the Codeware Interface within SolidWorks and Inventor. - Assists with refactoring the established code base. - Performs application profiling to optimize performance. - Assists with other projects as assigned.
Ideal Candidate
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering (or related field). - Programming experience (code design, writing, testing, debugging and documenting). - Familiar with common design patterns. - Skilled at reading and comprehending established source code. - Experience with .Net Framework (C#, VB.Net). - Experience working with the following an asset: - 3D Computer Aided Design APIs - SVN (code repository) - Redmine (project management) - Able to work independently as well as part of a team. - Self-motivated and action-oriented. - Able to communicate project progress in a clear and concise manner. - Flexible and adaptable attitude and approach to problem resolution. - Good listener and learner. - Analytically quick and logical with strong conceptual skills. - Good organizational and planning skills. - Committed to professional advancement through continuous learning.
