Responsibilities
  • Support team to develop merchandise assortments seasonally for handbags & small leather goods.
  • Maintain merchandising tools and assortments for departments of responsibility.
  • Analyze data & reporting to inform future strategy & decision making.
  • Prepare for monthly floor set process to focus on new introductions, key items and pricing strategies within departments of responsibility.
  • Partner with team in preparing for floor sets, product knowledge, and other store materials.
  • Coordinate visual merchandising guidelines, partnering with merchants to review and ensure accuracy.
  • Manage communication and process with Store Operations, Field Teams, and Cross-Functional partners.
  • Partner and effectively build relationships within RMP planning and allocation, as well as Global Merchandising and Visual Merchandising, to effectively discuss issues cross functionally.
Ideal Candidate
  • 6-8 years of corporate buying/merchandising experience in a vertical/specialty environment required.
  • Excellent analytical skills and knowledge of retail math.
  • Prior experience managing a team.
  • Strong written communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to build relationships across all levels and work collaboratively to achieve results.
  • B.A. or B.S. required.
