Cloud Optimization Consultant

The core mission of the Cloud Optimization Consultant is to deliver ongoing financial and security optimization improvements for our enterprise customers.

* You will use your analytical, interpersonal and technical skills to consult with our customers and deliver a roadmap for optimization and maintenance on their cloud investment. * You will analyze large customer billing and usage datasets while working with customers to build robust frameworks for security management and governance within their cloud platforms. * You will play a key part in the sales process to develop and win AWS optimization services business. * You will deal directly with the customers’ technical, project and leadership teams, providing the enthusiasm, leadership and drive to ensure that your insights are implemented. * You will work directly with our partners at Amazon, Microsoft and our internal technical specialists.

* Excellent analytical ability and a proven aptitude with large datasets, spreadsheets, perhaps some mean SQL skills. * An ability to build strong working relationships with customers and drive projects to completion, ideally with 2 or more years customer facing experience. * Passion for public cloud platforms and ideally have some level of knowledge of AWS. * Ultimately, you will be a keen learner and have the ability to ace the financial and security aspects of the platform(s) - you will be a Cloud “guru” * Slick presentation and writing skills. You’re also a good planner and communicator generally around complex topics. * Confidence to drive change in complex organizational situations. * Motivation and pro-activeness. You like to make stuff happen. Quickly. * Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university strongly preferred. * Flexibility to travel up to 75% in a given month if needed.
