SENIOR DIRECTOR OF PRODUCT MANAGEMENT

We're responsible for guiding products throughout the execution cycle, focusing on analyzing, positioning, and continually tailoring our video streaming solutions to help our customers engage consumers and drive revenue through top-notch experiences. We work closely with our engineers and partners to guide features, products and solutions from conception to launch. As a Senior Director of Product Management you will bridge technical and business worlds, zooming in to design and build upon our platform with creative engineers and zooming out to evangelize the product vision with Sales, Marketing, Customers and Customer Delivery teams. You have a bias for action and can break down complex problems into steps that drive product development, while collaborating with other product owners to do so. You will align Clearleap platform releases with customer and business priorities, and help guide individual customers launch and incrementally innovate upon their streaming products.

* Provide senior product leadership over product line components * Oversees recruiting, team development and best practices * Manages staff results by communicating job expectations; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results while acting as a mentor * Work with senior engineering and architecture teams to set product roadmaps and priorities * Drive requirements reviews with internal teams and with customers to ensure clarity and understanding; communicate the vision * Oversee and assist in the development of requirements from epics and stories down to JIRA tickets * Be the product owner in sprint planning and daily standups; pay meticulous attention to juggling the backlog; inspire and provide steady direction to engineering * Meet with customer teams and customers to understand pain points and help guide roadmap priorities; map releases to customer and market needs * Manage cross-functional projects by providing project leadership and daily management throughout the project from inception to delivery * Evangelize product direction to internal stakeholders and customers. Identify commonalities or gaps across stakeholders and proactively drive toward alignment * Represent Clearleap in key industry standards groups * Perform platform demos for customers, Sales, and reseller partners to evangelize features and benefits * Develop hands-on, in-depth knowledge of competitive products & services and maintain analysis of competitive strengths and weaknesses in areas of ownership * Provide guidance during customer (and prospective customer) visits and during the RFP processes -- as the functional and feature expert * Participate and represent Clearleap at industry events and conferences

* Bachelor’s degree required; master’s degree preferred * 10+ years of product management experience or equivalent/similar experience * Passion for video market with solid understanding of the streaming video ecosystem; strong technical knowledge is a plus * Deep understanding and experience in the development of data warehouse and business intelligence platforms * Strong analytic skills and ability to evaluate alternatives and make compelling recommendations based on solid business case analysis * Able to work equally effectively with customers, engineers and peers to drive direction on product requirements and decisions * Ability to juggle and execute on multiple priorities and customer interests while aligning with Clearleap’s overall strategic direction * Proven ability to successfully kick-start new initiatives and to drive complex issues through analysis and resolution
