Mortgage Compliance Lead

As the Mortgage Compliance Lead, you will be directly responsible for enhancing our compliance function. In this role, you will work cross-functionally with product, sales and mortgage operations to oversee and advise on potential compliance issues. You will serve as subject matter expert on mortgage regulatory issues, while continuously monitoring federal and state regulatory changes to implement change into our organization.

• Monitor the business for compliance, test controls and issue audit reports
• Prepare for and manage regulatory exams
• Establish and oversee delivery of training requirements
• Draft policies and procedures
• Advise Product, Operations and Sales on mortgage regulatory issues
• Ensure compliance of marketing, borrower-facing portal, and overall loan origination platform

• You are a mortgage regulatory expert with a minimum of 5 years of experience in the industry, and a strong understanding of TRID regulations
• Must be a critical thinker with strong problem-solving skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, interpersonal and collaborative skills
• Strong understanding of mortgage-related risks, controls, policies and procedures
• You are a self-starter with an entrepreneurial mindset
