Front End Software Engineer

* Collaborate with Engineering, Product and Design teams to define and build our consumer facing application * Create features. Test. Debug. Iterate. Repeat. * Shadow the Mortgage Operations team to increase and maintain empathy for our customers and understanding of the loan process

* You care about people, especially the other engineers on your team with and the business stakeholders that rely on you * You’re open to new ideas and you enjoy discussing concepts and solutions with your teammates * You have a deep knowledge of Javascript, HTML, CSS, and the DOM and experience with some modern JS framework (React, Redux or equivalent). You’re familiar with modern front-end tool chains – build tools, unit tests, linters, debuggers, transpilers * You let your artsy side show! You have an interest in usability and design aesthetics * You have 2+ years experience as a front end engineer at a consumer-facing, UI-heavy web shop - or you have transferable skills that allow you to hit the ground running on our stack * Bonus: you’ve contributed to open source libraries or cool side projects that explore new front end technologies
