Summary
The TECHNICAL SEO MANAGER will be responsible for driving the SEO best practices and architecture across our brand .com and business line assets. The position will work closely with the Content Marketing, Web Development, Analytics, Paid Search, Digital Media and Product Marketing teams to ensure successful execution and growth of multiple SEO technical strategies. This position will work in an Enterprise capacity across multiple products and business lines.
Responsibilities
* Serve as internal Technical SEO expert and provide thought leadership to ensure best practices are shared, understood and leveraged by all products and teams. * Work closely with Tech Services and external creative agency to support .com redesign through employing innovative and competitive Technical SEO strategies * Liaison - build strong internal relationships to understand the business and traffic needs of individual business lines. * Work with Content Marketing team to define SEO requirements and site enhancements that maximize website conversions and increase rank of natural search result listings; Participate in content marketing innovation brainstorming sessions * Responsible for working with Tech Service and Content Publishing teams on communicating and implementing technical concepts * Provide technical SEO guidelines to Web Publishing Team. * Continuously audit, monitor and evaluate SEO performance for multiple products. * Apply your knowledge of SEO trends, industry trends and user needs to drive the vision and development of impactful site structure and content enhancements. * Synthesize data, analyze results, identify trends, report and execute on key findings to achieve online marketing objectives. * Anticipate and respond to Google and Yahoo!/Bing search engine algorithm changes; Conduct competitive research and stay up to date on related technology trends. * Proactively identify and research SEO issues. Formulate and execute solutions. * Create journey maps, requirements, wireframes, and related documents as needed. * Utilize key SEO tools and resources to support research and analysis. * Responsible for Updating our Local Search Listings with Local Search Vendor * Manage PACs requests for .COM tech updates * Creates tags for new pages/campaigns, creates trafficking URLs and coordinates tag implementation with agencies, QAs tagging specs post page or campaign launch * Must be able to demonstrate strong technical SEO knowledge and practical experience. * Has advanced expertise of the technical side of SEO, including programming knowledge (HTML, JavaScript, ASP, PHP, .Net) * Strong knowledge of Google and Bing search engines and algorithm updates. * Track record of driving SEO performance and successes. * Experience working with multiple products or properties simultaneously. * Ability to manage multiple ongoing projects at once * An innovative attitude and an intuitive grasp of how SEO needs and user experience co-exist. * Strong data analysis, research and presentation skills. * Strong knowledge of web technology and trends, user behaviors and UX. * Possess strong experience utilizing SEO analysis tools and resources. * Experience providing thought leadership and influence across an organization. * Excellent communication skills, able to explain concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences. * Knowledge of all digital media categories (SEM, ODA, native advertising etc)
Ideal Candidate
Required Education and/or Experience * Bachelor’s Degree in related area and/or equivalent experience. * 7+ years’ professional experience in a SEO role with increasing responsibility.
Compensation and Working Conditions
Hours per week up to 40

Work Schedule: Monday-Friday 8:00AM-5:00PM
