Technology Solutions Architect for Cloud

* Covering a set of accounts in a geography, this consultative role partners closely with Enterprise IT to lead high-level partnerships among IT, the customer Business, Cisco and the Ecosystem to deliver hybrid cloud and infrastructure automation capabilities. * The core of this role is to consult with customer's key stakeholders and advise and deliver an agile and flexible IT environment to speed up the delivery of services to the customer's core business units. * Deep knowledge of industry trends, offerings, toolsets and methodologies is necessary to best accommodate the varying needs of different customer verticals, with unique priorities and legacies. * The roles of the Cloud/Software TSA are focused primarily on improving the way IT enhances and modernizes their own internal processes - through automation, orchestration of systems and workflows. * Successful engagements will result in very specific and measurable impact in customer adoption of solutions for agile development and workload hosting in a Hybrid Cloud architecture. * Service engagements such as Metapod along with channel partner and ecosystem partner services engagements that lead to increased IT investment in Cisco technologies and Solutions. * Successful follow-on scalability will be seen in increased consumption of software, managed services and marketplace-offered enhancements.

**Minimum Qualifications** Capability Requirements: * Industry knowledge across markets and partner ecosystems in order to lead engagements tailored for customer priorities. * Strong understanding of public cloud offerings and service models from Amazon and Microsoft and the ability to represent complementary Enterprise alternatives. * Keen understanding of Orchestration, Automation and Service cataloging capabilities. * Ability to distinguish and execute on both near-term success and comprehensive, strategic direction and investment. * Strong collaborator and facilitator among customer teams, industry partners and Cisco resources. * Strong presentation and customer communication skills. * Experience with Cisco data center infrastructure solutions such as, UCS and Nexus. **Desired Skills** Customer Value: * Successful engagements will result in very specific and measurable impact in customer adoption of solutions for agile development and workload hosting in a Hybrid Cloud architecture. * Service engagements such as Metapod along with channel partner and ecosystem partner services engagements that lead to increased IT investment in Cisco technologies and Solutions. * Successful follow-on scalability will be seen in increased consumption of software, managed services and marketplace-offered enhancements. Technical: * This person should have hands-on skills on technologies including Java, Linux shell, Python, Perl, Ruby, Chef/Puppet, Web Services (REST), NETCONF, Databases, Middleware technologies, UI/JavaScript, VMware, OpenStack, CliQr, Mantl, Shipped, Big Data and SDLC tools (Jenkins, Git). * Experience with 3rd party PaaS platforms such as Apprenda, OpenShift, and Cloud Foundry is desirable.
