Product Line Underwriter

* Work closely with the Chief Underwriting Officer to identify issues needing attention * Work independently to evaluate and analyze issues needing attention to develop an action plan * Working independently to create project plans to work the issues * Work independently to identify resources needed to execute project plans or solutions * Working independently to follow up on items needed to complete work on the issues * Regularly reporting on the progress of individual project plans and aggregate plans * Create professional quality presentation materials for senior management and external audiences as needed

* College degree in insurance, business or related fields or equivalent experience. * 4-5 years of experience in large account casualty insurance. * Superior analytical skills. * Ability to work independently and as part of a team, organize and prioritize work with minimal direction from management. Perform multiple tasks simultaneously and shift focus quickly. * Outstanding Interpersonal Skills. Ability to establish trust and effective working relationships with team, field marketing and customers. * Proficient technology and communication skills. * Commitment to maintain and develop underwriting skills and technical knowledge.
