About Children's Home of York

As the oldest existing child and family centered social service agency in York County, the Children's Home of York provides comprehensive, accredited, community-based services to stabilize and strengthen children and families in need.

Responsibilities

Coordinate/oversee all fundraising activities for the agency

Major gifts

  • Appeals
  • Grant writing
  • Planned giving
  • Special events

Supervise staff

Develop communications plan

  • Marketing materials
  • Media relations
  • Strategic planning
Ideal Candidate

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, Communications or Social Services field required. CFRE preferred.

  • Minimum 5 years experience in development/marketing services for public or private social service agency.
