We are looking for a highly qualified candidate for the role of SEO Specialist. This is the perfect role for the person at the top end of an individual contributor who wants career progression into SEO Manager role. The role will also be highly visible within the organization and have the opportunity to join a Company that is impacting student outcomes in a meaningful way.
* Be a SEO thought leader within Chegg * Comfortable working in large datasets and with millions of URLs. * Collaborate on strategy and KPIs to measure success * Work cross departmentally to achieve goals and execute on tasks that are aligned with our overall strategy. * Audit existing site to identify areas of deficiency in regards to both best practices as well as competitive analysis. * Help to create and support marketing content (e.g. videos, case studies, blog posts) * Monitor various SEO tools, both internal and third party, to recommend SEO initiatives * Perform research (keyword, topic, etc.) to identify areas of improvement and new opportunities * Stay up to date on trends within SEO and internet marketing.
Ideal Candidate
* 5+ years’ experience in Search Engine Optimization (SEO) * Strong understanding of Search Engine Optimization (SEO) processes * Experience working with popular SEO tools * Proficient with Wordpress * Experience working with CMS and building/administering content in multiple CMS environments * Knowledge of HTML/CSS and website administration * Experience with website analysis using a variety of analytics tools including Google Analytics as well as internal reporting tools * High-level proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and Word * Ability to manage time, self-motivated, and deliver projects on time. * Communicate clearly and effectively at multiple levels within the company.
