We are looking for a highly qualified candidate for the role of SEO Manager. This is a Senior Level Manager type role. The individual will be a LEADER within the SEO & marketing teams. The role will also be highly visible within the organization and have the opportunity to join a Company that is impacting student outcomes in a meaningful way.
- Be a SEO thought leader within Chegg
- Comfortable working in large datasets and with millions of URLs.
- Collaborate on strategy and KPIs to measure success
- Work cross departmentally to achieve goals and execute on tasks that are aligned with our overall strategy.
- Audit existing site to identify areas of deficiency in regards to both best practices as well as competitive analysis.
- Help to create and support marketing content (e.g. videos, case studies, blog posts)
- Monitor various SEO tools, both internal and third party, to recommend SEO initiatives
- Perform research (keyword, topic, etc.) to identify areas of improvement and new opportunities
- Stay up to date on trends within SEO and internet marketing.
- 8+ years’ experience in Search Engine Optimization (SEO)
- Strong understanding of Search Engine Optimization (SEO) processes
- Experience working with popular SEO tools
- Proficient with Wordpress
- Experience working with CMS and building/administering content in multiple CMS environments
- Knowledge of HTML/CSS and website administration
- Experience with website analysis using a variety of analytics tools including Google Analytics as well as internal reporting tools
- High-level proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
- Ability to manage time, self-motivated, and deliver projects on time.
- Communicate clearly and effectively at multiple levels within the company.
