Summary
We are looking for a highly qualified candidate for the role of SEO Manager. This is a Senior Level Manager type role. The individual will be a LEADER within the SEO & marketing teams. The role will also be highly visible within the organization and have the opportunity to join a Company that is impacting student outcomes in a meaningful way.
Responsibilities
* Be a SEO thought leader within Chegg * Comfortable working in large datasets and with millions of URLs. * Collaborate on strategy and KPIs to measure success * Work cross departmentally to achieve goals and execute on tasks that are aligned with our overall strategy. * Audit existing site to identify areas of deficiency in regards to both best practices as well as competitive analysis. * Help to create and support marketing content (e.g. videos, case studies, blog posts) * Monitor various SEO tools, both internal and third party, to recommend SEO initiatives * Perform research (keyword, topic, etc.) to identify areas of improvement and new opportunities * Stay up to date on trends within SEO and internet marketing.
Ideal Candidate
* 8+ years’ experience in Search Engine Optimization (SEO) * Strong understanding of Search Engine Optimization (SEO) processes * Experience working with popular SEO tools * Proficient with Wordpress * Experience working with CMS and building/administering content in multiple CMS environments * Knowledge of HTML/CSS and website administration * Experience with website analysis using a variety of analytics tools including Google Analytics as well as internal reporting tools * High-level proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and Word * Ability to manage time, self-motivated, and deliver projects on time. * Communicate clearly and effectively at multiple levels within the company.
