Senior QA Manager

We are looking for a Quality Assurance/Quality Engineering leader that will manage and direct QA staff. Chosen candidate will monitor progress, lead sizing and delivery/resource forecasting and help negotiate scope with partners and peers. Will recommend process changes and improvements to optimize testing to be more efficient and effective emphasizing time to market, transparency, and risk management.

The primary responsibility of the Schwab Advisor Center Sr. QA Manager is to be the single point of accountability for Quality Assurance across a broad portfolio of initiatives focused on Advisor Services. This individual will engage primarily with direct reports, business partners, and program management, as well as cross enterprise Managers and Officers.

* Minimum of 5 years' experience with test planning, test automation, offshore team leadership, quality engineering in an iterative development environment. * Thought leader in test automation, testing process, and testing tooling for web, mobile native, and hybrid platforms. * Adept at assessing risk, analysis for test coverage, defining risk-based test strategies, and leading integration efforts across agile product teams. * Able to develop, enhance and influence adherence to quality metrics and standards. * Able to partner with engineering team and architects to move quality and test automation upstream. * Strong interpersonal skills and ability to thrive in a corporate culture based on relationships in a team that emphasizes delivery, innovation, and transformation.
