Summary
The newly-created, full-time Administrative Assistant / Associate – Administrative Support position will provide administrative support for the Compliance Organization within Denver (Lone Tree) for 3 officers. Will (voluntarily) provide event planning/ coordination support for up to 150 or more employees.
Responsibilities
* Complex calendar management to balance business needs for our organization management * Optimization of our regular and ad hoc meetings including conference room and logistical arrangements * Preparation of materials utilizing an array of tools including Excel, Word and PowerPoint to develop attractive, graphic-intensive and compelling documents to drive engagement * Travel management for our team including invoice processing and expense reporting * Management of organizational charts and distribution lists to enhance communication * Development of routine and specialized management reports * Anticipation of potential challenges and/or needs our employees and the leaders supported may face and proposal of alternative plans to overcome the challenge or need when possible * Additional projects and tasks as assigned and/or identified.
Ideal Candidate
* At least 5 years’ of administrative assistant experience with increasing responsibilities * Highly developed PC skills, including demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook * An ownership mentality previously demonstrated while remaining compliant with corporate policies and procedures * Strong organizational and administrative skills with the ability to anticipate, improvise and adapt for optimal resolutions * Outstanding interpersonal skills including: the ability to work effectively on a team, maintain composure in stressful situations, and work under deadline pressures * High degree of productivity and able to work effectively on a variety of projects simultaneously * Excellent oral and written communication skills -- able to communicate directly, concisely and/or diplomatically as required, knowing how, when and what to communicate * Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage projects simultaneously * Bachelor's degree is preferred * Banking, Financial Services or related industry experience is preferred.
