Responsibilities
  • The Marketing Projects Representative provides a service-oriented strategic planning and implementation perspective for marketing and communication activities at the University and college level.

  • Responsible for crafting and communicating appropriate marketing plans as needed to colleges and programs.

  • Translate university objectives and strategies into communication opportunities for colleges and programs.

  • Coordinate marketing and communications activities as assigned.
Ideal Candidate
  • Bachelor's in English, communications, marketing, business, public relations or related field, or equivalent combinations of education and job-related experience.

  • Excellent writing skills (grammarian, creative writer, great proof reader). Extraordinary skills in organizing and planning, problem analyzing and problem solving skills.

  • Comfortable with formal/group presentations; persuasive, adaptable, stress tolerant.

  • Understanding of customer and market dynamics and requirements.

  • Experience in media selection and negotiation.

  • Entrepreneurial, self-starter with good communication skills.

  • Detail oriented with the ability to manage projects from inception through execution.

  • Experience with web/internet marketing and advising.

  • Desired: 6 years of experience in a marketing or communications role.
