This is an opportunity for a highly motivated individual to get involved with key aspects of marketing for a national, public homebuilder. Responsible for exploring, testing and implementing marketing activities to generate traffic to on-site sale offices.
Essential Duties:
- Work with Vice President of Marketing to develop the general marketing plan and marketing budget and the execution of the plan
- Develop, prepare and execute monthly marketing plans with VP of Marketing
- Develop monthly and quarterly plans for outreach to support campaigns, new community openings and struggling communities
- Prepare annual and quarterly budget forecasts
- Create strategy for Realtor outreach efforts, including event planning and messaging
- Provide agency partners with well thought out, effectively written creative briefs and evaluate creative output against briefs in an objective, constructive manner
- Oversee production and budgets associated with the implementation of marketing campaigns, including print, web, direct mail and billboards
- Coordinate with multiple departments to ensure deliverables and scheduling objectives are met
- Review data analysis and metrics to ensure media campaigns meet predetermined objectives
- Initiate site visits weekly with the goal of reviewing existing campaigns and generating new ideas for every marketing window. Evaluate signage, flag and sales office condition.
- Oversee planning and execution of special events including, new community grand openings, re-launch events, Realtor events
- Oversee and manage internal events, including National Marketing meeting
- Establish and maintain vendor relationships with area newspapers, new home publications, real estate-related television programs and other media outlets
- Place advertisements in area newspapers, industry publications and internet according to marketing plan; monitor costs and deadlines
- Negotiate cost-effective ad buys
- Coordinate photography, both interior and exterior of new communities, new product lines, etc., for use in company marketing material
- Maintain Divisional and National stock photography and product imagery library
- Maintain quarterly marketing calendar and track marketing results
- Conduct market analysis and monitor competitive activity for new and existing communities
Other Duties:
- Attend industry specific events, expos, etc. Attend new community grand openings.
Knowledge/Skills and Experience:
- Knowledge of sales and marketing concepts
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to operate in a high-energy, high intensity and rapidly evolving environment
- Data driven with strong analytical skills
- Up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in on-line marketing and measurement
- Ability to maintain effective working relationships with customers, contracted agencies and workers, other employees, supervisory personnel
- Excellent organizational skills and detail oriented
Education and Experience:
- Four-year degree in Marketing or equivalent
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience
- Residential homebuilding experience preferred
