Under the direction of the Delivery Manager, the Concrete Dispatcher must have extensive knowledge of the service area, understanding of logistics and scheduling, computer skills and understanding of construction related issues. Candidate must possess excellent interpersonal skills, work efficiently in a fast pace environment, possess ability to keep a professional and calm attitude in demanding situations and have excellent organizational skills.

* Record, input and schedule orders via centralized call center. * Understand logistics of concrete trucking to make changes in truck schedule throughout the day as needed. * Process COD transactions, including pricing and credit card charges. Must have the ability to multi-task and manage heavy call volume. * · Must be able to make professional decisions based on a constant changing delivery schedule and negotiate delivery times with customers. Coordinate with drivers, operational personnel, quality control and office personnel to ensure service and delivery of Ready Mix concrete. * Focus on delivering the right concrete to the right job, safely with a smile.

* 1-3 year’s experience in dispatching in a similar industry a plus * Bilingual Spanish/English a plus * Basic understanding of logistics and efficiency principles in trucking
