Senior Manager for Solution Architect

Celgene Corporation is a global integrated biopharmaceutical company primarily engaged in the discovery, development and commercialization of innovative therapies designed to treat cancer and immune-inflammatory related diseases in patients with limited treatment options.

This is a role of a SFDC directly involved in developing architectural strategy for the evolving SDFC platform and will be a SME on SFDC solutioning. The architect should have skills as an expert in defining platform standards and integration strategies and understanding cross platform use cases.

- Define platform standards - Object Model oversite - Define Data architecture for the platform - Integration architecture oversite for the platform - Data migration strategy for the platform - Data archive strategy and planning for the platform - Guidelines for out of the box functionality versus customization decisions - Platform mobile strategy / architecture - Build versus buy decisions (app exchange products versus customizations) - Instance strategy - Release management strategy - Understand the cross platform use cases to suggest optimization and cross functional utilization opportunities - Monitor platform health - Define Salesforce security and data encryption architecture to fit Celgene business needs

- Minimum certifications: Dev 401, ADM 201 (note Dev 401 has recently been replaced with Platform Developer) - Nice to have certifications: Dev 501, Service Cloud - Extended knowledge of technical capabilities (Visual Force, Apex, APIs, APEX Triggers & Web Services) - Deep functional expertise in understanding salesforce capabilities and limitations - Hands on experience in large enterprise salesforce solutions managing multiple applications in an org - Experience with global considerations for releases - Experience in Veeva CRM is a plus - Experience: 10 + years of experience in IT and minimum 5 years of experience in Salesforce as an architect in large enterprise salesforce solution.
