Summary
This position will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and delivering technical expertise, selling skills, and market knowledge training intended for the members of the field sales team.
Responsibilities
* Subject matter expert on the disease states of Multiple Myeloma, MDS or MCL is preferred. * Establishes goals and learning objectives to design appropriate and effective curriculum by leveraging adult learning & instructional design principles. * Work cross-functionally with commercial team members (sales, marketing, analytics, market access, etc.) to develop and execute training programs and materials that support achievement of oncology goals. * Manage all aspects of Hematology sales training curriculum development and implementation, both initial and ongoing. * Evaluate the effectiveness of course content and make necessary adjustments to materials and delivery methods. * Manage regulatory approval of curriculum and ensure compliance. * Conduct routine needs analysis and provide input to development and implementation of annual training plans. * Apply project management techniques to ensure projects are completed on-time and within established budgets * Researches clinical issues and leverages resources (internal and external) to support the learning objectives in designing and creating training programs and products. * Prepares and/or oversees the preparation of training products and programs such as classes, workshops, learning modules, and other materials for distribution to program participants. * Oversee designated In-House Phase Training meetings to include planning, logistics management, vendor monitoring, and participant conduct. * Partner with Regional Field Sales Training Manager team in the development and execution of product and disease state training. * Act as a resource for the field force by actively participating in all sales meetings and routine field rides. * Design and execute POA Meeting/National Sales Meeting training workshops in coordination with the Commercial Learning department * Develop facilitation skills expertise in support of training content delivery. * Designs and implements metrics to measure training programs and products impact, effectiveness, appropriateness, and utility.
Ideal Candidate
* BA/BS Required * Myeloma, MDS and Lymphoma disease state and treatment landscape expertise preferred * Proven track record of sales excellence * High level of professionalism and the ability to excel in a team environment * Exceptional oral presentation skills and written communication skills * Excellent learning, problem solving and interpersonal skills * Ability to work in a cross functional environment * Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills * Proven success at performing responsibilities with a high degree of flexibility, objectivity, discretion, appropriate demeanor, and professionalism * Must be able to self-motivate and demonstrate leadership skills with the ability to perform effectively without supervision * Expertise with key electronic tools (e.g. MS PowerPoint, MS Word, MS Excel) is highly desirable
