UX Software Researcher

The User Experience Engineering group at CDK Global is focused on the quality of the interactions people have with our software and is looking for professionals that employ the principles and techniques of User Centered Design to join us. As a UX Researcher you will... * Transform the end user experience for CDK's automotive dealership solutions * Work closely with product development teams and UX designers to define user research questions * Work on all stages of user research from participant recruiting through findings interpretation and report presentation * Collaborate closely with UX Designers to inform design decisions and advocate for the needs of the users * Operate with lean, agile frameworks and methodologies to improve the ability to respond to change * Perform summative and formative research on desktop, tablet, and mobile interfaces

We realize that everyone's situation is unique, however, our general guidelines for requirements include... * A portfolio of UX research deliverables demonstrating experience (usability testing, contextual inquiries, persona development, web analytics, etc.) * 3+ years experience as UX researcher, usability analyst or similar * BA/BS in HCI, human factors, psychology engineering or similar field * Passion for usability * The ability to work with other researchers in a collaborative environment * Experience working with and applying user research data * Automotive dealership industry experience is a big plus * Enterprise or B2B experience is a plus * Experience working with and applying user research data
