Responsibilities
Director, Equity Reviewer is a Professional Engineer, or Registered Architect with strong technical, writing, and verbal communication skills. This position entails reviewing Equity Level Property Condition Assessments prepared by staff architects and engineers; coordinating technical staff activities, interfacing with clients, and mentoring and training junior staff. Our expansive portfolio provides employees with the unique opportunity to work on some of the largest and most iconic building and construction projects nationwide and abroad. CBRE/IVI is known for the quality of our work, our professionalism and responsiveness, the business and technical expertise of our staff, and the personalized nature of our services and for providing exceptional outcomes for our clients. * Provide technical direction and guidance to architects and engineers assigned to projects with an emphasis on Equity Standards; * Review and evaluate PCAs and other deliverables, identify and resolve problems; * Communicate with clients to discuss and develop solutions for recognized property condition concerns and Agency underwriting standards; * Review and technically edit PCA's to ensure accuracy, completeness, quality, and compliance with Equity level standards; * Manage PCA portfolio execution; * Prepare Property Condition Reports as required; and * Deliver outstanding customer service through timely response and exceptional results to meet client needs.
Ideal Candidate
* Certification as either a Professional Engineer or Registered Architect, * 10 years’ experience in commercial real estate due diligence with 3-5 years as a Reviewer or equivalent; * Forensic building and condition assessment experience required; * Passion for being detail oriented and highly organized; * Must be flexible, motivated, and team oriented * Must be knowledgeable in ASTM standards as well as other due diligence standards and protocols * Proficiency in Word, Excel, and Outlook a must; and * Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
