Summary
Lead business development efforts for CBRE’s Retail business and work with CBRE professionals to win retail accounts. Primary responsibility for coordinating CBRE resources / specialists and developing innovative client solutions, assigning roles, managing deadlines, coaching team members, and managing interactions with prospective clients.
Responsibilities
* Coordinate with Americas Supply Chain & Industrial Leadership, Occupier Leaders, Sales Managers, LMA leaders and brokers to identify prospects * Assemble a multidisciplinary pursuit team for each pursuit, including brokerage / transaction management, project management, portfolio management and / or consulting * Lead the development of a tailored “win strategy” for each pursuit * Manage the creation of proposals, presentations, and other client-facing materials with the pursuit team and national / local marketing professionals * Participate in client meetings / presentations and lead presentation prep sessions * Lead / oversee pricing and contract negotiations * Track all activity using a sales management database * Complete post-mortems (win or lose) * Identify and communicate market trends, opportunities and competitive threats * Target = $25m in net new revenue annually
Ideal Candidate
* Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution and a minimum of 8-10 years of significant experience (Graduate degree or MBA preferred). * Knowledge of all major service lines, including brokerage / transaction management, portfolio administration, project management, consulting and account management. * Relevant experience in retail real estate preferred. * Demonstrated experience developing client solutions and meeting aggressive sales targets.
