Carilion Clinic, a not-for-profit healthcare organization based in Roanoke, Virginia, is seeking a Vice President of Psychiatry.

* The Vice President of Psychiatry serves as a dyad partner with the Medical Chair. * The incumbent reports directly to the EVP, Carilion Clinic. * The Vice President leads operations for Inpatient Adult and Adolescent Units, physician practices and outpatient services. * Position includes strategic planning and execution, and resource management.

* Required qualifications include ten years of progressively responsible leadership roles in health care with a Master's degree in healthcare, business or related discipline. * Proven results and demonstrated leadership ability to ensure optimal quality, patient satisfaction, fiscal management and exceptional service delivery with skilled staffing in a dynamic, quality oriented environment for a large, complex area of responsibility. * Consistent demonstration of proficiency in situational and change leadership, collegiality and successful ongoing trusting relationships with physicians, leaders, staff, strategic partners and stakeholders. * Excellent communication, mentor, and multi-disciplinary team building skills required.
