Responsibilities

Maintains knowledge of all Revenue Cycle Management areas and activities while working in an insurance follow-up position collecting payments from Medicare for physician claims.
This position works under limited supervision and may look to the RCM Team Lead for help in answering questions and completing tasks / projects.
Will use discretion/or good judgment in unstructured situations.
Works in a fast-paced, office environment with high productivity and accuracy standards that requires focus and concentration on tedious details and research.

**Minimum Qualifications Required**

*Education:*

* High School graduate required; college course work preferred in Business or Accounting

*Experience:*

* Prior Medicare physician billing experience required.

* Required to be skilled in Customer service, effective interpersonal communication, teamwork and problem solving, demonstrated ability to adapt with changing processes, time management, written communication and computer aptitude, typing speed greater than 40 words per minute.

**Other Minimum Qualifications:**

* Must be able to meet high productivity goals and use critical thinking skills to resolve claims.

* High focus and concentration needed for computer, analytical, organizational and time management required.

* Visual perception and high hand/eye coordination necessary.

* Requires excellent hearing, clear/concise speech, excellent finger dexterity to operate computer terminal/keyboarding as well as use of a calculator.

* Must be proficient with word processing, computer/PC skills.

* Excellent documentation and follow-up skills required.
