Summary
We are looking to add a Facility Environmental Specialist. The responsibilities of this position include providing an invaluable service to customers, helping them troubleshoot facility issues that impact ventilation which ultimately affects the animal performance.
Responsibilities
* 95% This individual will work with the sales and technical teams to identify customers who need support troubleshooting environmental issues caused by facility deficiencies and(or) poor management of barns. This person will arrange travel to visit customers while respecting their biosecurity requirements, and conduct assessments of customer facilities using tools and proprietary software to provide solutions for ventilation and other facility issues. Written reports of findings and solutions is required, as is the ability to candidly present and discuss findings with stakeholders and generate buy-in for solutions. This individual will need to stay current on new technology and equipment used in animal production facilities. Ability to suggest improvements in the software and reporting tools also a plus. * 5% Other Duties as assigned.
Ideal Candidate
**Required Qualifications:** * Bachelor's Degree in Ag Engineering or Animal Science * Strong math and analytical skills * Detail oriented with good written and oral communication skills * Microsoft office Skills * Willingness to travel a minimum of 50% * Ability to climb ladders, twist, and carry weight (max 50lbs) **Preferred Qualifications** * Prior experience with intensive livestock production operations * Prior experience with ventilation systems in livestock facilities
