Packaging Designer

We have an immediate opportunity for a Designer who wants to help build our brand vision by crafting thoughtful, beautiful, and delightful retail packaging. This individual will be working on the design and production of packaging for the CareZone brand and assist with other printed matter as needed. Carezone is the #1 medical app for iPhone, iPad and Android. We are well funded and we are growing – fast! We’re an experienced team of problem solvers, tech geeks, caregivers and dog lovers who are passionate about creating tools that help people manage personal and family health challenges. We need team members who can think big and grow big while maintaining fanatical attention to detail.

• Has strong knowledge of manufacturing processes and is capable of generating detailed packaging specs
• Has passion for environmental concerns and sustainable packaging options
• Is just as comfortable building physical mockups as you are designing on the screen
• Is self-disciplined and self-directed, with the ability to manage multiple projects
• Can take creative direction well
• Possesses creative and innovative sketching, design and conceptualization skills

• Interpreting and implementing CareZone brand guidelines throughout all print marketing and packaging material
• Crafting solutions that have structural integrity, effectively telling the brand and product story while adhering to brand standards
• Working closely with the Creative Director to develop brand design guidelines to include packaging standards
• Researching and identify packaging trends and materials

Desired education and experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in industrial design, Packaging design or equivalent
• Minimum 3 years print, industrial design or package design experience, preferably within an agency or consumer products company
