Summary
Cardlytics is seeking a Senior Accountant to join our Accounting team. The Senior Accountant will be responsible for all aspects of accounts payables, maintenance of our Concur purchasing system, as well as other journal entry and reconciliation responsibilities associated with closing the general ledger on a monthly basis. In addition, this role will be responsible for all equity accounting and stock option management of the Company. This role will be part of a fast-paced organization and have the opportunity to collaborate with the Controller and VP Finance to design and implement process improvements.
Responsibilities
* Manage all aspects of accounts payable, accrued and prepaid expenses and long-lived assets, which includes the coding and payment of invoices and expense reports * Conduct month end closing processes for assigned accounts, which includes the preparation of journal entries, account reconciliations and roll-forward schedules * Assist with the preparation of financial reporting packages and variance analyses for management * Coordinate with internal and external auditors as necessary * Assist in special projects as necessary
Ideal Candidate
**Qualifications:** * 3+ years of experience * Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office, advanced Excel skills a big plus * Prior experience with Concur and Microsoft Dynamics GP a big plus **Education, Training and Travel** * Bachelor’s degree in Accounting **Communication and Cognitive Abilities** * Self-motivated and able to adapt to a rapidly changing business environment. * Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Communication skills are a must due to the amount of interaction this role will have with employees across the company. * Strong organizational and time management skills. * Able to work both independently and in a team-oriented environment. * Entrepreneurial spirit
