Prepress Technician

Produce products and services in support of Caraustar Custom Packaging Group, Business Development Group, Packaging Services Operations and Digital Imaging Services.

**Essential Functions and Responsibilities** * Manages all duties and responsibilities in accordance with Caraustar accounting policies and financial control procedures. Awareness of the requirements of the Caraustar Standards of Business Conduct Policy. * Produce prepress products and techniques, which ensures material flows through production in support of business goals and customer demands, both internal and external. * Keeps status/progress records and project job tickets updated continuously during the movement of these projects between the various functional areas. * Interfaces with the management, sales and customers; participates in product rescheduling and modifications of the production environment. * Ensures production plan is met using problem solving skills (following management guidelines). * Ensures compliance with company IT business practices and requirements. * Ensures safe and healthy workplace. **Other Responsibilities** * Comply in all respects with the provisions of the Caraustar Standards of Business Conduct Policy required. * Must be trustworthy and responsible. * Must be able to travel on company business when appropriate.

* High school diploma or equivalent and at least 5 years of experience in a production graphic arts manufacturing environment. * Good people skills required. * Must be able to multi-task and manage time proficiently. * Proficiency in all job related graphic and technical software required for the position. * Ability to resolve conflict in an efficient and timely manner. * Must have excellent interpersonal skills.
