Customer Service Representative - Mill Group

We are currently looking for an experienced Customer Service Representative for our Austell, GA location. This individual will have a strong and stable work history, strong Customer Service skills (manufacturing industry a plus).

* Provide quality service and support to external and internal customers. * Receive and enter paperboard mill quotes and orders via phone, fax and e-mails. * Answer customer service telephone calls and respond to e-mails. * Track customer’s inventory and process releases of inventory. * Resolves problems efficiently and effectively. * Communicate requests and changes to the scheduling and shipping groups. * Provide support to the sales team. * Back-up where needed. * Comply with Caraustar policies and procedures, including Caraustar Standards of Business Conduct Policy and Caraustar accounting policies and financial control procedures.

* High school diploma or equivalent required. 4 year degree preferred. * 1 year experience in customer relations experience. * Must have ability to multitask and meet deadlines in fast paced environment. * Ability to think critically, solve problems, and act with good judgment is essential. * Strong organizational and communication skills. * Must be a self-starter. * Must have proficient computer skills plus Microsoft Office software. * 10-Key entry. * Superior interpersonal skills a must. * Mathematical skills are a must.
