Senior Technical SQA Engineer

Captora is a Top of Funnel (ToFu) platform that helps you target, launch and optimize high-performing campaign portfolios at scale across search, advertising and social channels.

We are looking for a Senior level and Technical Quality Assurance Engineer. Your primary responsibility is to develop and enhance the testing process, strategy, test plans, test cases, and participate in test automation. This entails understanding the features and/or use cases for Captora’s product, as well as working closely with the development team to ensure the quality of our solutions prior to release. We seek a self-motivated individual who enjoys the dynamics of a startup company, always finds themselves at the center of projects, believes untested code is broken code, and is passionate about disrupting business as usual.

* Become the champion of the Captora Product! * Design, create and execute testing strategy and plans for new and existing features of the product. * Participate in performance, load and stress automation testing for SaaS and mobile products. * Work closely with our product development and product management teams. * Stay current with technology, tools, quality and testing trends * Work in Agile SDLC environment * Analyze and prioritize testing requirements based the business requirements.

**Short and Sweet Summary:** * Senior level - 5+ years of pertinent exp * If you're NOT senior level then you must be a strong coder, fast learner, and have a passion for Quality * Versatile and open to doing whatever it takes within QA - Front end, Back end, Automation, Functional, etc. * You need to know how to code in Java and very comfortable with Selenium * Smart * Startup minded **Qualifications:** * BS or MS in Computer science or equivalent. * 5+ years of QA experience. * Strong analytical skills, desire to learn and curious mind. * Strong technical knowledge in Java and Selenium is desired. * Experience with REST/SOAP and API * Experience with SaaS and mobile platform automation * Good verbal and written communication skill * Working experience on Agile development environment * Excellent problem solving and debugging skill * Self motivated with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively. **Personal Attributes:** * Deep desire to understand “how things work” and convert to practical advantage. * Entrepreneurial spirit: passionate about joining a startup, adaptable to changing situations. * Self-starter who will take responsibility and do what it takes to get the job done with minimal direction. * A team player who can share and learn from others, but at the same time is able to work very independently. * Demonstrated commitment to excellence/diligence (as demonstrated by education, business and/or work experience). * Ability to organize and lead complex efforts and initiatives, breaking them down into tasks and planning / tracking their execution. * Pragmatic: able to analyze trade-offs and prioritize tasks in order to achieve goals. * Strong verbal and written communication skills: able to communicate with peers and management.
