Product Development Analyst

A respected insurance carrier in Michigan is seeking a Product Development Analyst with previous property and casualty insurance experience with a focus on either commercial underwriting or product development.

• Monitor and evaluate competition, making sure products are competitive in comparison.
• Research, develop, and recommend product proposals with rating variable analysis, coverage comparisons, and rate indications.
• Implement product revisions in a timely manner.
• Prepare state filings.

• Bachelor’s Degree with emphasis on Business, Mathematics, Statistics, or Insurance.
• Exposure to rating and coverage forms.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Previous Property and Casualty Insurance experience with a focus on either Commercial Underwriting or Product Development.
