Human Resources Generalist

Capstone Search Group is a national search firm dedicated to the insurance industry. We are business partners to insurance organizations on staffing related projects. We work nationally with expertise that spans top executives, middle management and technical level positions.

The Human Resources Generalist will directly support the overall execution of daily operations for a well-respected insurance company in the Midwest. This is a newly created role designed to work across many departments including recruiting, document management, corporate reception, events, and internship functions for the company.

• You will be responsible for providing support and working directly with company department heads and managers in the daily operation of Human Resource functions to ensure compliance with Federal and State laws.
• You will provide support and feedback to senior management and other managers to assure services are provided in a timely manner and all internal and external customers are treated professionally and respectfully.
• You must have a strong technical understanding of Human Resources concepts, will have previous management experience, and will be able to step in from day one to provide execution of the department’s short term and long term strategy for success.

• Bachelor’s degree, preferably with an emphasis in Human Resources Management.
• SPHR designation strongly preferred.
• Previous project management experience strongly preferred.
