Commercial Claims Analyst

The Commercial Claims Analyst will focus on the assessment and management of claims for this consulting group in Atlanta. The company is a third party advisor that provides large companies with resources during the claims process and makes recommendations on resolution strategies. This role requires a knowledgeable claims professional capable of handling detailed analysis that possesses a track record of career progression and a consultative approach to claims handling.

* In-take, assess and manage incoming claims. Determine if it’s an incident or a legitimate claim that needs to be reported. You’ll recommend courses of action in cases of minor incidents. Create report, track claims, verify the scope of injury and follow up on return to work options. * Conduct the initial investigations and negotiations. Assemble and report claims data. Discuss and present on trends, types and causes of loss with clients.

* At least 2-3 years of commercial claims adjusting experience with a third party administrator (TPA), insurance company or private employer in a risk management department. * Workers compensation and commercial general liability (CGL) are the primary claims; background working with these case files is preferred but not required. * Strong academic record from a recognized college or university with a track record of career progression. * Strong negotiation and consulting personality. Excellent problem solver. Knowledgeable on the claims process with a thorough attention to detail. Persuasive personality with a high sense of urgency.
