Cantina’s core offerings include mobile product development, “internet of things” implementations, responsive design and enterprise grade technical design. Cantina’s client list includes Avid Technologies, PerkinElmer, Pearson Education and Epsilon among others. Since 2007 we have worked together with more than 40 enterprise customers and 30 startups on more than 250 diverse projects.

We are looking for someone who can develop quality software at a fast pace while following best practices and can interact with a variety of clients on strategic, high-impact projects. You should enjoy working with small, tight-knit teams of developers as well as enjoy using “the right tool for the right job.” We are not tied to any specific technology, but rather use the best tools at hand.

You should be a passionate full stack developer with a broad range of programming skills. You should enjoy switching between various programming projects, ramping up quickly, regardless of the chosen technology, and delivering. In addition, we are often faced with tasks that go beyond technical discipline to involve much broader aspects of consulting. You should have some experience with project and client relationship management, project scoping and direct client interaction.

Required Skills: Java / Spring or Node.js

Desirable Skills: Python, some familiarity with Mobile UX design/development for iOS and/or Android (e.g. Objective-C, Swift, or Java); Familiarity with RESTful web services and open source technologies
