Bilingual Product Marketing Specialist

Canon U.S.A., Inc., is a leading provider of consumer, business-to-business, and industrial digital imaging solutions to the United States and to Latin America and the Caribbean (excluding Mexico) markets.

Canon USA is currently seeking a Product Marketing Specialist focused on Photo Marketing to be responsible for creating and implementing marketing plans for Canon's camera products for the Latin American market. The role of this position is to analyze the market by country, develop a marketing plan based on our strategy, create marketing material and execute local events to create demand and image culture in the Latin American market.

* Provide regional marketing support in Colombia/Peru/Central America. * Analyze local market conditions and propose marketing activities that will enhance our presence and boost our sales * Coordinate, prepare and execute in-depth product sales training to Authorized Canon Dealers, Promoters, and Retailers. * Monitor and supervise local marketing agencies to ensure projects are on schedule, within the budget, and following Canon's guidelines. * Provide marketing support to affiliates: Provide POP materials, assist with training and events and respond to inquiries. * Support new products launches. * Issue LAG Press Release and launch Letter. * Provide digital Marketing support * Supporting LAG/Colombia/Peru website management and enhance social media operations.

* Bachelor’s degree in business administration is required. * A minimum 3- 5 years of relevant experience is required. * Must have strong analytical, decision-making, project management, planning and organizational skills. * Must possess superior communication and presentation skills, relationship building abilities and negotiation skills. * Demonstrated proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint are required. * The successful candidate will be adaptable and able to travel. * Bilingual in Spanish is required and will be assessed. * Photo literacy is a plus, but not a requirement.
